- Rayhawk Corporation (RAYHAWK.COM) announces the launch of andresendigital.com. The site was developed for Andresen Digital, a premier pre-press firm with locations in Santa Monica, San Francisco, and Phoenix.

Andresen had been shopping for a technology partner for its' web deployments for over a year. After an exhaustive search, they chose Rayhawk to develop both an informational web site at andresendigital.com and Andresen’s digital asset management system. “When it came down to price/performance ratio, Rayhawk was simply without peer,” commented Michael Galvin, Andresen’s Director of Technology, “While the performance of Rayhawk’s [asset management] architecture alone would be worth their development costs, the competency and beauty of the design simply exceeded all our expectations.”

From the moment the site launches, you are greeted by a high-energy animated splash page that features imagery of Andresen’s award-winning work and a pulse-pounding beat. Browsing through the various pages quickly reveals that each page as its own “personality” that is provided by a looping animation in the top left corner. Rayhawk uses these motion graphic elements to draw visitors into a futuristic world of pre-press – a world envisioned using the most advanced graphic software. Satellite controlled billboards and retinal eye scans, are just a few of the visionary concepts that help position Andresen Digital as a technologically advanced pre-press provider.

“Even before principal development of the site began, we knew it’s design had to be very compelling. As premiere pre-press studio Andresen is powerful creative force and it was absolutely essential to represent that in their web site,” said Jack Young, andresendigital.com’s lead designer and animator. “Inspired by Andresen’s portfolio we set out to inject the site with imagination and originality. Today, I look at the finish product and can say we delivered! Andresendigital.com is a clear example of Rayhawk’s leadership in the online arena.”

The site covers all Andresen’s services including, pre-press, print services, out-of-home, and e-services. It also serves as an access-point for Andresen’s client to login into their digital asset management account. The digital asset management system is currently under development by Rayhawk and should be deployed by spring 2003.
