Santa Monica, California – March 26, 2001 - Rayhawk Corporation (RAYHAWK.COM) announces the completion of velocitysport.com, its latest automotive web site. The site was developed for Velocity Sport Tuning, a leading Audi high-performance tuner that provides cutting-edge enhancements to engine management electronics.

Much like the German cars it’s products serve, velocitysport.com represents a great combination of form and function. From a visual standpoint the site has a distinctive presence that is driven by an exciting animated splash page, clean design, and stunning imagery. This look and feel is based on European sensibilities and helps Velocity align it’s branding with the target market that the company caters to.

The project’s first challenge was to re-brand Velocity Sport Tuning with a new identity. Rayhawk’s branding team delivered Velocity’s new logo well before development of the web site commenced. With the corporate identity in place, Rayhawk’s designers were able to build a site on the foundation of this vital branding element. The advantage of this approach is apparent in the finished product, a web site that is a natural extension of a company’s brand.
